Lines of research

The program has two lines of research:

- Agricultural Production Systems
Description: Research is carried out into the use of plant species used as a source of raw materials for biofuels and other applications, commercial crops grown in Paraná, problems caused by phytopathogenic agents, species and raw materials used for animal nutrition and the processing and conservation of agricultural products, providing information for the sustainable use of sandy soils in the northwest of Paraná.

- Soil and Water Use and Management
Description: The aim is to study the sustainability of soil and water in the Caiuá Sandstone region. The effects of industrial waste, irrigation, soil acidity correctors and micronutrients on soil and water will be observed.
