Lines of research
The program has two lines of research, namely:
- Agricultural Production Systems
Description: Research is carried out regarding the use of plant species used as a source of raw material for biofuels and other applications, commercial crops grown in Paraná, problems caused by phytopathogenic agents, species and raw materials used for animal nutrition and transformation and conservation of agricultural products, providing information for the sustainable use of sandy soils in the Northwest of Paraná.
- Use and Management of Soil and Water
Description: The aim is to study soil and water sustainability in the Arenito Caiuá region. Effects of industrial waste, irrigation, soil acidity correctors and micronutrients on soil and water will be observed.
